Joachim Pissarro is a noted Art Historian specializing in Impressionoist Art; more specifically, the art of Claude Monet and his great- great grandfather Camille Pissarro. Formerly a professor at Yale University, Pissarro wrote "Monet and the Mediterranean" in 1997 garnering great acclaim. Joachim is now a curator at The Museum of Modern Art ( MOMA) in New York City. His unique knowledge of the experience of art and food in the lives of Monet and Pissarro was a rare treat in the footage of "Monet's Palate." |
